The checker combines deposit, scheduled monthly payments, balloon/GMFV and option fee to show Total Amount Payable from the figures entered. It also shows remaining monthly payments and the amount still due if you intend to keep the vehicle at the scheduled end.

What “total cost” means here
This tool adds the deposit, scheduled monthly payments, balloon/GMFV and option fee entered. It is designed to make the payment structure visible, not to reconstruct every item in a regulated credit agreement.
Use Total Amount Payable from your agreement when available
Your signed agreement may include fees or other amounts that a simple calculator cannot infer. Treat the contractual Total Amount Payable as the authoritative number.
Remaining scheduled cost is not settlement
Adding all future scheduled payments is different from asking the lender for an early-settlement quotation. Early settlement can involve different treatment of future interest.
