Calculator information

The PCP figures entered into the calculators are processed in your browser. They are not intentionally transmitted to My PCP Check, stored in a user account or included as values in Google Analytics events.

Google Analytics

Optional Google Analytics is denied by default until you accept analytics through the site’s analytics banner. If accepted, we record page views and high-level interaction events. Calculator event parameters indicate only whether certain sections were used; they do not contain the financial numbers entered.

Advertising

My PCP Check uses Google AdSense. Where UK/EEA consent requirements apply, advertising consent is handled through Google’s certified consent-management message. This is separate from the site’s optional analytics choice. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies, local storage, IP addresses, device or browser identifiers and similar technologies for purposes such as ad delivery, measurement and personalisation, depending on the choices presented in that advertising consent message. Sensitive financial information

We do not intentionally send settlement amounts, vehicle values, monthly payments, deposits, mileage figures or calculated positive/negative-equity amounts to Google Analytics. The calculators are designed so these figures remain browser-side.

Contact form

If you contact us, the information you submit is processed for the purpose of responding to the message. Do not send agreement numbers, bank details, full finance documents or other unnecessary sensitive information.

External links

Third-party websites have their own privacy practices. Following a source or other external link takes you outside My PCP Check.

Your choices

You can decline optional analytics and still use all calculators. You can revisit advertising-consent choices through Google’s consent interface where available, and clear browser storage/cookies to reset the local analytics choice.
